By downloading, accessing, or using the ScoresDeck mobile application ("App") or the ScoresDeck website at scoresdeck.com ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ScoresDeck LLC.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use ScoresDeck. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Business accounts are intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.
To access certain features, you must register for an account using a valid email address. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Account registration requires email verification. You may update your display name, username, email address, and password through your account settings. Changes to your email address require re-verification via a confirmation link sent to the new address.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon deletion, your personal identifying information will be permanently anonymized.
Usernames and handles. Your username, and the handle of any business account, is provided for your use of the service; you do not own it, and it is not transferable or for sale. ScoresDeck may reserve certain names, and may change, reclaim, or reassign a username or handle at its discretion, including when it: (a) uses the name, brand, trademark, or likeness of a company, celebrity, public figure, influencer, or other person or organization you do not represent; (b) is likely to mislead others about who is behind the account or its affiliation with ScoresDeck; (c) is the subject of a valid request from the person or organization it refers to, or from a rights holder; or (d) otherwise violates these Terms or applicable law. Where practical we will notify you and give your account a replacement name; your account, content, and history are otherwise unaffected. Reclaiming a name is not, by itself, a suspension or ban.
Standard user accounts may access all gameplay features, including creating and joining matches, tracking scores, and connecting with friends. Standard users may see advertisements within the App. This includes first-party sponsored content (the scoreboard's "Presented by" sponsor and posts that organizations promote, labelled as sponsored and served based on your general location), and ads served by Google (such as banners and ads shown at the end of a match) through Google AdMob. Ad-related data handling is described in our Privacy Policy, and you can limit ad personalization through your device's advertising settings.
Premium Accounts: You may upgrade to a Premium account on our website. Premium cannot be purchased in the App. A Premium subscription removes ads served by Google (AdMob in the App, AdSense on the Site) and unlocks additional features including advanced player statistics. Premium members still see first-party sponsored content: the scoreboard's "Presented by" sponsor and posts that organizations promote. Premium is a recurring monthly subscription processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your full payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on ScoresDeck servers. Your subscription is billed in advance and renews automatically each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep Premium access until then. Subscription charges are not refundable, including for partial or unused billing periods, except where a refund is required by applicable law. ScoresDeck may also grant complimentary Premium or feature access at its discretion, which may be modified or revoked at any time.
You are solely responsible for the content you create or submit — including your username, display name, bio, profile picture, and match comments. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant ScoresDeck a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute it within the App and Site for the purpose of operating the service (for example, showing your profile and comments to other users, or in shareable match cards).
You agree not to post or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that impersonates another person; and not to harass, threaten, or harm other users. You are also responsible for the content of any profile picture you upload and confirm you have the right to use it.
You can report content or users that you believe violate these Terms. We may review reports and, at our sole discretion, remove content, issue warnings or strikes, and suspend or permanently ban accounts (personal or business) that violate these Terms or our policies. Some enforcement actions are automated. If your account is banned, you may lose access to your content, gameplay history, and any unused Premium time or wallet balance, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
ScoresDeck offers a Business account type for advertisers and brands who wish to run ad campaigns within the App.
Upgrading to a Business Account: Any standard user may upgrade to a Business account through the Settings page on the Site. This upgrade is permanent and cannot be reversed. Once upgraded, your account will no longer have access to gameplay features, including the ability to create or join matches, receive match invitations, or view player statistics.
Wallet & Campaign Funding: Business accounts operate on a pre-funded wallet model. You must add funds to your wallet before running campaigns. Funds are added in real-time via Stripe (see Section 6). Ad campaigns will automatically pause when your wallet balance reaches zero.
Ad Content: You are solely responsible for all ad content you submit. You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, deceptive, illegal, discriminatory, obscene, or that violates any third-party intellectual property rights. ScoresDeck reserves the right to reject or remove any ad campaign at our sole discretion, without refund of unused wallet funds.
Billing: Ad campaigns are billed on a cost-per-thousand-impressions (CPM) basis. Charges are deducted from your wallet balance as impressions are served. Funds already spent serving impressions, and any complimentary or promotional credits granted by ScoresDeck, are non-refundable. Your remaining real (paid-in) wallet balance may be refunded to your original payment method — either on request or when you close your organization account — subject to our review.
All wallet top-ups for Business accounts are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By adding funds to your wallet, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Your full payment card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on ScoresDeck servers.
ScoresDeck uses Stripe's fraud detection services, which may collect device identifiers and browser characteristics to help identify fraudulent transactions. This activity is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Complimentary or promotional credits, and funds already spent, are non-refundable. You may request a refund of your remaining real (paid-in) wallet balance to your original payment method, and any remaining real balance is likewise refundable when you close your organization account, subject to our review. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at support@scoresdeck.com.

ScoresDeck is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the App or Site will be free of bugs, errors, or interruptions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoresDeck LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services, including data loss or loss of wallet funds due to technical failures.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App or Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
ScoresDeck operates an internal SMS notification program that alerts ScoresDeck personnel when ScoresDeck's production systems report a fault or stop responding. Participation is limited to ScoresDeck staff who provide their own mobile number for operational on-call alerting. ScoresDeck does not send text messages to users of the App or Site.
Message frequency varies and depends on system events. Messages are sent only when an incident occurs — typically fewer than 10 per day, and none on a day with no incidents.
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages. To resubscribe, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or contact support@scoresdeck.com.
Information collected through this program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. ScoresDeck does not sell or share SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these Terms, please contact us at: support@scoresdeck.com.
